Port St Mary Commissioners have increased the rates for the coming year by 5p.
The Board has agreed a rate increase of 1.5%, bringing it up to 354 pence.
A spokesman said several projects are in the pipeline this year including the resurfacing of the boat park, replacing flooring at the playpark and further investment in festive lights.
The Board says it expects to be able to deliver a balanced budget for the forthcoming year.
