A flowery initiative by an MHK has prompted the Department of Infrastructure to patch some Port St Mary potholes.
Michelle Haywood decided to plant daffodils in the biggest potholes down the High Street over the weekend to draw attention to the issue.
She's now posted an update as the DOI patched up some of the holes, adding that it's a temporary solution and a scheme to replace the road still needs to be approved and funded.
Mrs Haywood says that productive discussions have been had with Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall.
