Streetlights in Port Erin are currently permanently on due to a cable fault.
Commissioners say the underground fault is in the area of upper promenade, opposite the new Royal Shore Apartments building.
As a result, streetlights are affected on the upper promenade and all areas north towards Bradda Head, past the golf course.
Manx Utilities will be on site today and tomorrow to replace the suspected faulty cable.
