An elderly man who was taken to hospital following a fire at his home in Port Erin has died.
91 year old Edmund Morrison and his wife, who is also 91, were rescued from the house on Station Road when a fire broke out on 14th February.
Police enquiries are continuing into the matter, which is not being treated as suspicious.
Anyone with any information to assist the enquiries is asked to contact Port Erin Police Station on 832222.
An inquest into Mr Morrison's death will open at Douglas Courthouse on Monday morning.
