Port Erin Commissioners has opened a public consultation into its draft dog byelaws.
The draft says dogs will be prohibited from Port Erin beach between 10am and 7pm from 1 May until 30 September.
Exceptions in the byelaws are made for assistance dogs, police dogs and search and rescue dogs whilst on operations.
Residents have until 15 August to put their views across.
Copies can be found on the commissioner’s website and in the office on Bridson Street.
