Anagh Coar Headteacher Loses Brave Battle with Illness
The Department of Education and Children have announced that the popular headteacher of Anagh Coar Primary School has passed away.
Vicky Dassoulas, was known for her expertise and commitment to the School she’d worked for since 1993, she passed away after losing a brave battle with a serious illness.
She’d been in the profession for more than 30 years and was appointed headteacher at Anagh Coar in March of last year.
A School spokesperson described Vicky as a huge personality and her death will be a huge loss to all who knew her.
The 137 students at Anagh Coar have been offered grief counselling, her wish was that the children remembered her by releasing Chinese lanterns into the sky, plans are in place to do this before the TT break.
