A popular comedy from a famous Liverpool playwright will take centre stage on Island next week.
Our Day Out, written by Willy Russel, is the comic and heartbreaking tale of a group of Liverpool youngsters in the 1970s who take a trip to the seaside, celebrating the highs and lows of growing up and being free from school.
The production by Stage Door Entertainment has been produced and directed by Lisa Kreisky and Kristene Sutcliffe, with Lisa saying it will have the audience 'laughing and crying in equal measures'.
The event - which is supporting by Island firm SMP Partners - takes place at the Gaiety Theatre from June 13 to 15 with tickets available on its website.
