Police are warning parents not to let their children play 'knock a door run'.
On social media officers say its received reports of children knocking on doors and running away in the south of the Island.
The force says although there's not always malice in the activity, it can be very distressing for certain residents.
It adds with the summer holidays fast approaching, parents and carers should speak to their children about the importance of being neighbourly and looking after one another.
