Police are advising people to walk or cycle if they want to see a Manx sporting hero this lunchtime.
Mark Cavendish will be riding a lap of honour at the National Sports Centre from 1pm.
Officers say there's likely to be heavy traffic around Pulrose Bridge, Groves Road and Quarterbridge and are advising people to walk if possible.
Their advice is to be patient and leave plenty of time to get through the congestion.
