Police in the north of the Island are warning residents of scam callers.
Officers say scammers are asking people to pay £600 due to Visa transaction problems.
The callers, both male and female, instruct the person to pay immediately and 'Press 1'.
However, police say say anyone who receives such calls to hang up immediately and not to give out any personal information.
