Police warn shops over wanted couple

The male and female are of Asian ethnicity and use a distraction/confusion technique to exchange cash from one denomination to another.

Authorities have told shop and pub owners to be on the lookout for the pair thought to be in their mid-40s.

The female is described as being a heavy build with long dark hair and the male a slim build with short dark hair. He was wearing a black hat, a dark-coloured jacket and a red scarf. 

 

Police request that any sightings of the couple to be reported immediately and urge businesses not to engage in the changing of money with them.
