Isle of Man Police are warning the public against scam calls appearing to be from BT Openreach.
The Office of Cyber Security and Information Assurance says they've had a number of reports from residents.
They added the number calling may appear to be Manx and match your area code, however BT Openreach do not operate locally.
If you've received one of these calls and given out details or lost money, you're urged to contact your bank and report to the police.
