Isle of Man police are warning of difficult driving conditions on the Mountain Road this morning (Thursday).
A spokesman said gritters are heading to the area after reports of snow hail and sleet showers.
Motorists in the area are being asked to drive to the conditions after an accident at Guthries Memorial.
Police say the road remains open and is passable with care.
