Police are urging local businesses to ignore the opportunity to purchase advertising space in what’s being described as being a ‘police’ related publication.
The caller is implying that the publication is linked to the Isle of Man Constabulary - however this is not the case.
People are being told never to disclose financial information during a ‘cold call’ telephone conversation, on the off chance it is a scam.
