Police are warning of three scams where residents are targeted through a land line.
The first is where the caller claims to be a Manx Police Officer and says a card has fraudulently been used and they need bank information from the receiver.
Another is where an 'officer' calls claiming to be investigating an in house bank fraud.
Meanwhile, the third scam is similar to the first two, where the scammer claims you can verify the officer's identity by calling the station.
Police ask the public is wary of any calls as it is highly unlikely the police will ever contact you by phone about fraud.
