The festive period can see a spike in 'opportunist crime'.
That's according to Police who've taken to social media to issue the message.
It comes follow criminals targeting 2 shops and a business in Douglas last weekend.
However - security measures in place prevented any 'substantial' loss, enquiries are underway to identify those involved.
