The Island's police now have access to a drug used to reverse the effects of an Opioid overdose.
Naloxone is quick use and officers say they've recently seen it save a person's life.
Overdoses can be caused by prescription medications as well as illegal drugs such as heroin.
A number of selected police officers have been trained in how to use the drug and now have access to it on their patrols.
