An Onchan commissioner says he hopes more police patrols in the village will help tackle anti-social behaviour by youngsters.
Martin Macfarlane says there's been a steady increase in incidents involving youths in the area over the past few months.
A number of incidents of criminal damage were reported to have taken place this weekend.
Mr Macfarlane says police have said they'll step up efforts to try to prevent more trouble in future:
