Police Seize Quantity of Ecstacy, 3 Men Arrested

2 men were arrested on Thursday evening, charged with serious drugs offences.

The arrests came in the Colby area, both men were local, another male, also local was arrested on Friday.

The arrests came following the discovery of a large quantity of the Class A drug Ecstasy with an Isle of Man street value of approximately £3,500.

One of the men, a 64 year old from Colby was charged with a serious drugs offence and has appeared in court already. Two other men in their 30’s were released on bail whilst enquiries continue.

Police believe the seizure will significantly affect the circulation of the drug on the Island.
