Police officers on the Isle of Man who are dealing with sexual offences have seen a 110 per cent increase in their workload over the last 12 months.
The Public Protection Unit - which is staffed by six officers - say most of their cases involve children; with both current and historic complaints.
It's something that's been described as "relentless growth" - Detective Inspector Michelle McKillop heads up the unit:
The number of indecent assault, gross indecency and unlawful sexual intercourse complaints all rose in the year - there was also a jump in the number of people being caught with indecent images.
DI McKillop says the increase could be down to people having the confidence to come forward and report the offences:
