Police rescue woman from Douglas harbour

Police are currently trying to establish how a woman ended up in the Douglas harbour over the weekend.

Emergency services were called to the Douglas Marina at 1:40am on Sunday to reports that a female had entered the water.

She was rescued by the police officers and transferred to Nobles Hospital by ambulance - no update on her condition has been released.

The police say they want to speak to anyone who might have been in the area at the time, and witnessed what happened.
