Police have renewed their efforts to find the person responsible for 'dumping' four new born puppies last month.
The dogs were abandoned close to the Northern Civic Amenity Site on October 6th in a tied plastic bag.
Officers are asking members of the community and dog fraternity if they knew of any border collies pregnant around late August to come forward so they can be ruled out of the enquiry.
Police have suggested the person responsible would have access to a vehicle - and suspect they are probably from the north of the Island.
The four puppies - two boys and two girls are with the ManxSPCA and are doing well.
Anyone with any suspicions about a friend or neighbour who has a dog of the collie breed - particularly the merle variety - is asked to contact the police or Crimestoppers.
