People with licensed firearms have until tomorrow to submit their renewal application - or face possible jail time.
The Triennial licensing for firearms is fast approaching, and anyone who's an existing certificate holder must have their renewal in by Friday.
But officers say anyone with a gun after Friday will be in unlawful possession of a firearm - which can carry a three-year prison term.
They say people can either take their weapon to an authorised dealer and tell police, or surrender them at a police station before 1st April.
