Police are urging cyclists not to go on the Mountain Road whilst the Festival of Motorcycling takes place.
Cycling is currently prohibited on the route until Monday, September 3.
However, despite the ban officers say they received a number of calls over the weekend of cyclists continuing to use the road.
The route is two-way throughout the fortnight.
