New police recruits will ensure we won't see a crime-ridden start to the New Year:
That's the Home Affairs Minister - who says 10 new student officers could help keep residents from another burglary epidemic similar to that which was witnessed at the start of this year.
They've been set duties like investigating crime, arresting and interviewing suspects, taking witness statements and dealing with traffic issues.
