A police officer has been seriously injured after being hit and carried along by a car in Douglas.
He was dragged
along Mona Drive at around 3:30am on Saturday morning.
He has suffered a broken collarbone,
and serious cuts and abrasions to his head and limbs.
Two men were arrested yesterday but
have since been released on bail.
Police are treating this incident as
a deliberate act and are appealing for any member of the public with
information in relation to this incident to contact them as a matter of urgency.
