Police launch inquiries into deceased prisoner

Details are still vague concerning the discovery of a deceased inmate at the Isle of Man Prison yesterday morning.

Confirmation on the identity of the deceased will not be made until formal identification has taken place.

Police have confirmed that they're conducting inquiries into the circumstances leading up to the man's death on behalf of the Coroner of Inquests.

Next of kin were informed yesterday.
