Police Want Festival Crowds to Have Fun But Act Responsibly
The Police have issued a Have fun-Be Safe message to everyone attending the Mannifest festival over
this weekend.
It kicks off today with 3
days of live music from bands on and off the Island.
Head of the Western Neighbourhood Policing Team, Inspector Will Campbell has said the key message they're wanting to get across is that people drink in moderation and don't over do it.
There is also a strict ban on any illegal substances onsite, with sniffer dogs in operation throughout the weekend.
Anyone camping is reminded to look after their property and lock their tent if keeping valuables inside.
