Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was knocked down and injured in the South of the Island.
Officers say a man was injured on Wednesday at around 7.45pm on the pavement heading into Ballasalla from the Cross Four Ways.
The constabulary says he suffered some injuries, and they want to hear from anyone who may have seen what happened.
They also say a lady stopped and helped the gentleman, who is very grateful for her care.
