Police investigate 'suspicious' car

Police say they are investigating reports that a car has been seen acting suspiciously around the Douglas area.

It’s been alleged on social networking sites that a man and woman in a blue vehicle have been approaching children in the Pulrose and Spring Valley area.

The Central Neighbourhood Policing Team say so far the reports are unconfirmed and there appears to be no basis to them but officers are keeping an open mind.

Anyone who sees anything suspicious has been asked to report it to Police Headquarters by calling 631212.
