Police have launched an investigation after bogus election leaflets were posted in Douglas.
Douglas City Council says the flyers pretend to be from sitting councillors and feature their names and mobile phone numbers.
But the local authority says the leaflets are fakes, spreading misinformation ahead of next month's elections.
A spokesperson said it's disappointing someone is trying to mislead voters, and the matter's been reported to police.
