Police investigate attempted burglaries in Kirk Michael

Attempted burglaries in Kirk Michael on Monday do not appear to be linked to each other - or a burglary in Andreas - according to the police:

Investigations are continuing in the area - officers are speaking to residents in the local community and viewing CCTV.

It follows a burglary in Andreas last Thursday - a thief reportedly entered a house off Andreas Road and stole items whilst an elderly couple were at home.

Detective Inspector Mark Newey is urging people to remain cautious but not to panic:
