Police investigate after mill is damaged

Peel Police Station

Police in Peel are investigating after the old Glebfaba Mill was damaged last month.

Between 6pm and 8.20pm on Thursday, March 28, one or more people entered the building on Glenfaba Road from the Railway Path.

They then removed several fluorescent tubes and smashed them on the river path.

Police would like to speak to a man and woman who were walking three dogs in the area at the time and are believed to have witnessed people exiting the mill.

Members of the public have been asked to exercise caution in the area due the remaining glass posing a potential hazard.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact PC David Hall at Peel Police Station.
