Emergency services are in the area of the Quay in Castletown after it was reported a man and two children disappeared from view from a bystander earlier this afternoon.
Police say Although at this time it is highly likely they may have left the area, emergency services are in the area to try and clarify that this is the case and ensure that nobody is in danger.
Members of the public are asked to avoid the area for the time being whilst emergency services carry out their checks.
If anyone thinks they may have witnessed this adult and children in the area or think that this may have been them, you’re asked to contact Police as a matter of urgency on 631212.
