Concerned members of the public turned out in force for the police's 'crime prevention surgery' this weekend.
It was held on Saturday at the Strand Shopping Centre - sergeant Andrew Reed from Lord Street Police Station was on hand to respond to concerns from distressed residents.
A number of attendees weren't convinced the culprits will be apprehended.
