Police are asking motorists to avoid the junction with the New Castletown Road to the NSC entrance.
It comes following an incident on Groves Road in Douglas earlier this morning.
Officers have confirmed the road is closed due to what's being described as a 'police incident' - it's not yet known when the road will re-open.
