Police have confirmed the identity of the elderly lady who died as a result of a road traffic collision on Sunday afternoon.
91 year Freda Starkey was one of three women in the blue Honda Jazz car that collided with a stationary vehicle at Bishopcourt.
Mrs Starkey is described as a well known member of the Ballaugh community, having lived in the village for over 30 years.
She was a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
The enquiry into the accident is ongoing, with the Police specifically appealing to the driver of a silver Volkswagen, seen behind the blue Honda immediately prior to the crash.
