Police have now confirmed the man found dead in Castletown over the weekend was 60-year-old Ballabeg man Neil Edward Roberts.
A post mortem examination determined that he died as a result of injuries sustained during a violent incident at the Queen Street address.
Two people have been arrested on suspicion of murder - they are a 45-year-old man and 47-year-old woman, both from Castletown.
A forensic examination of the address has been undertaken by a UK-based forensic scientist, approximately 20 officers are involved in the investigation.
