A man was arrested in Peel last night after reports they were carrying a knife.
He was detained in the area of Kerroo Coar, and taken into custody.
There were no injuries relating to the event, and the police have apologised for any inconvenience to the public, whilst the incident was contained.
Police are now keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, particularly two youths who came face to face with the knifeman.
