Police appeal after loose dog attacks birds

It happened on Monday at around 3pm in a field in the area of Archallagan - a black and white spaniel, or spaniel cross breed, was left loose with the birds. 

 

Officers are reminding pet owners to keep track of their dogs to avoid incidents like these - they also want to speak to the owner of the dog involved; anyone with information is asked to contact Peel Police Station.
