Police are appealing for information after a building belonging to the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture has been damaged.
Officers say the slate roof of a building in the Axnfell Plantation car park in Laxey has been targeted.
In a post on social media officers show a considerable amount of damage has been done by throwing rocks at the roof.
The constabulary says as they know the area is popular with walkers and cyclists they want anyone with any information to get in touch with Ramsey Police Station.
