According to authorities, a grey Ford Fiesta parked on Peel Promenade (Shore Road) at its junction with Beach Street has had its windscreen wipers snapped off sometime between 5pm last Saturday (June 6) and Noon the next day (June 7).
As a result, officers want to hear from anyone who may have information as to who could be responsible, but are asking residents to avoid naming any individuals they believe to be involved on social media.
Those with details they think could help authorities are asked to contact Police Headquarters on 631 212 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
