Plea for help to tackle marine litter 'magnet'

People in the south of the Island are being urged to rally to tackle a 'magnet' for marine litter.

Beach Buddies is aiming to clean-up Spaldrick Beach on Sunday - it say the area is 'regularly trashed' by people who leave broken bottles and the remains of barbeques there.

Anyone who wants to take part is asked to turn up at 10.30am - all equipment is provided with as much of the rubbish as possible being recycled afterwards.
