The Island's Green Party has hit out at plans to slash the price of renewable energy produced by Manx Utilities customers.
The MUA has written to businesses and residents telling them the amount paid for any electricity they generate from solar panels or wind turbines will be cut by around 10 per cent.
This year, the price will fall from 9.2p per unit to just 8.2p - with a further cut to 7.2p next year.
The Isle of Man Green Party says it's a backwards step which contradicts the government's declaration of a Climate Emergency two years ago.
