Plans submitted for medicinal cannabis production facility

A planning application has been submitted for a medicinal cannabis production facility in Ballasalla.

Grow Lab Organics have applied to build in the Ronaldsway Business Park, in an area which is currently a disused sports field.

The company, which is headquartered on the Island, says the facility would create more than 60 jobs and has been designed with 'energy efficiency at its core.'

The application also says that stakeholders have been engaged with over the last three years and have given positive feedback.
