A registered building in Castletown could be turned into a café and tourist accommodation, if planners give the green light.
Derby House on Parliament Square had previously been used as offices, but Castletown-based Marlinspike Properties says it wants to convert the historic building.
In its application the company says it would create two bedrooms for visitors in the upper floors.
And it's also applied to change the use of the basement and ground floor to a catering outlet.
