The Department of Infrastructure says it wants to put an advertising board outside the airport.
It's applied for planning permission to put the hoarding outside the main terminal building on the south side of the main entrance.
The board would measure almost 30 feet wide and eight feet high.
In its application, the department says the non-illuminated board would feature a colour vinyl print.
