Planning permission is being sought to extend The Bridge Inn pub on Douglas Quay.
Heron and Brearley wants to convert the retail unit next door – number 1 Quine’s Corner – into an extension of the pub.
The plans that have been submitted are a resubmission after the original plans were withdrawn due to concerns from Environmental Health.
It was worried about the potential impact of sound from the proposed redevelopment – however a sound testing consultant has now prepared a report to support the application.
The plans are currently pending consideration.
