Plans have been put forward for a new glamping site on the outskirts of Port Erin.
The town's commissioners want to create a facility with 30 glamping pods, toilet and shower facilities, a welcome centre and landscaped nature area on land off Ballafesson Road.
The proposals, if approved, would offer a total of 168 beds available all-year round, and each cabin would come with 4G internet connection, electrical supply and en-suite washing and toilet amenities.
The application adds it aims to 'attract a new wave of visitors to the Island and generate additional income for the Island, its towns, commerce and residents'.
