Plans have been put forward for a site which would accommodate nearly 170 motorsport fans during TT.
The Department for Enterprise is hoping to create a 'TT Village' on the former prison site on Victoria Road in Douglas.
In its application, the DfE says it's been recognised there's a lack of places to stay for spectators who want to be near the paddock and not stay in a tent during the racing fortnight.
If approved, the village would be in place between May 23 and June 7 - all the cabins would come with power, water and waste water connections and the facility would be run by a site manager and supported with security and housekeeping staff.
